Gregorius Kristian Purwidi is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for developing high-performance computing solutions for the next generation of mobile networks. Currently working as a Software Engineer - 5G Cloud RAN at Ericsson, he is responsible for designing, developing, and testing the Baseband microservice for Ericsson's cloud-native 5G RAN (Radio Access Network). His expertise in C++, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes has been instrumental in the success of the project. Gregorius has over 5 years of experience in the field of software engineering, having previously worked as a Software Developer - Baseband at Ericsson, where he developed software for 5G scheduler on top of purpose-built Ericsson MSRBS (Multi Standard Radio Base Station) hardware. He was also responsible for developing test cases in the Model-based Testing (MBT) framework, implemented in Java and Erlang. As a Master Thesis Researcher at Ericsson, Gregorius conducted a quantitative study on the benefits of local spectrum licensing. His research aimed to evaluate the performance of the local licensing approach in comparison with unlicensed spectrum, considering the disadvantages of local licensing. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Communication System from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Gregorius is a critical thinker with a curiosity-driven mindset, always eager to explore new technologies and solutions.
